Why Teams?

Sulphur Springs Composite Squadron will be using Microsoft TEAMS in compliance with the direction and practice of the Civil Air Patrol, as it's primary communications and interaction tool for real time communications, and as an acceptable addition to email.
Teams is a powerful communications tool that may have a significant impact on organizational and professional reputations.
CAP information has a special classification known as FOUO (For Official Use Only).  The Air Force has recently replaced the phrase with CUI (Controlled Unclassified Information).  This means that the operational procedures and practices of the Civil Air Patrol, it's missions, and their specifics are not for open public discussion.  The Air Force has determined that Teams satisfactorily meets the security requirements of this type of date.
